Knitting for Adults: Learn to Knit Classes

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Do you love crafting, color and creativity? Would you like to learn a new hobby that can relieve stress, is social, will build math skills, and give you a sense of accomplishment when you gift or wear something that you have made yourself? Knitting is a life-long skill that can be practiced whether you have 3 hours or fifteen minutes, in a group or by yourself. There is so much that can be done with two sticks, some string, and your hands!

Jennifer Stover will lead this program. Jen's mom taught her to knit at the age of 8, and she loves to initiate both those who are brand new and those who would like a "refresher" course into the healthy addiction of knitting!

Good quality yarn and needles are included in the cost of this program, and the needles are yours to keep. Materials will be purchased at Twill, now in Milford NH at 20 Middle Street.

The Learn to Knit classes are a 3-part series, with each class made up of three weeks. Each class has separate material requirements. Classes 2 and 3 may also include knitters beginning with Class 1.

This class will run with two participants and will fill with six students so that participants are able to receive the attention they may need.

NOTE: Learn to Knit, Project 1 is being closed until the New Year. Knitting students who have completed Project 1 may register for Project 2, and those who have completed Project 2 may register for Project 3.
