The Amherst Karate Studio is very proud to announce that their studio has received official licensing to be an Ed Parker Studio. This validates their ranking and authenticity! Back to school Karate is now open for registration!
Amherst Karate Studio is the new incarnation of Mont Vernon Karate Studio, a family friendly studio that teaches adults and children Kenpo Karate. Students will learn the art of American Kenpo Karate, from Instructor Jim Peacock, a 6th degree Black belt in American Kenpo with over 30 years experience. This first session of classes will be based on 5 week learning sessions ( cycles ). Cost for the first session through Recreation is $59.00. Students may purchase a uniform ( $30. 00 ) or simply come to class in loose comfortable clothing.
Students from Amherst Rec will participate in the Amherst Karate Studio beginner classes, and are encouraged to participate in 2 classes per week for the best results.

After Yellow Belt, participants will be asked to join the Amherst Karate studio as a full member to continue their training as they work towards their next rank.

Amherst Karate Studio will honor the three session introductory price for any participant registered before 9/21. Going forward, the $59 5 week session is an introductory price for the first session only. Thank you.
