Cedar Adirondack Chair

The Amherst Makerspace is offering a one-day workshop to create this durable, hand-crafted Adirondack Chair. This chair is made from red cedar, and incorporates 316 stainless steel fasteners. Red cedar is naturally decay and bug resistant, so this chair is built to last. Steve Opre will walk you step-by-step through the creation process. You’ll enjoy learning to use a variety of wood working tools in a small-class setting. Customize your chair with your name or a design of your choice using the laser engraver! Incorporate a cup holder if you like. Upon the conclusion of the class, you’re going to want to make a matching chair, and you will have the skills to do it!
