Hiking and Yoga in Nature

Get ready for a fun and active morning of hiking, yoga and meditation. Build strength, endurance, flexibility and balance while exploring nature and finding peace in the outdoors.

The class will consist of a 45 minute guided hike on the PMEC trails with some stops for meditation and asanas, leading back to the pond for a 45 minute outdoor guided practice (weather permitting- in the event of rain or cold temperatures the extended practice will be indoors). This class is open to all levels of fitness.

Class will meet at the kiosk in the PMEC parking lot at 9am. You will need comfortable walking/hiking shoes, yoga clothing, water and a mat. Bug spray and sunscreen as needed. Wearing bright colors is a must for sharing the woods with possible hunters in the fall!

In case of poor weather:
If it’s raining we’ll do yoga first, then hike. If it’s thunder and lightning or high winds, or snow plows need to treat the roads after 7AM, we’re cancelling and rescheduling makeup at end of session.
